Limited Warranty
Colorado Component Rebuilders, Inc.
warrants to the original user this engine for 36 months or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, to be free of defects in materials
and workmanship under normal use and service, with the following provisions: (Turbo EJ20 and Turbo EJ25 engines are
warranted 12 months or 12,000 miles)
* The motor oil shall be changed every 3,000 miles.
* Only Subaru Genuine oil filters will be used at all times.
* The engine will not be allowed to overheat. The heat tab attached to the engine must remain in place and intact at
all times to prove that such overheating has not occurred.
* Failure due to contamination or lack of lubrication will not be warranted.
* Failure due to improper priming of the oil pump will not be warranted.
* The engine has not been abused, misused or modified. *
* External parts of the engine (e.g., water pump, timing belt, idler bearings, and tensioners)
are warranted for 12 months or 12,000 miles only. Oil leaks are only warranted if they appear immediately.
The obligation of this Warranty shall be limited solely
to repairing or replacing the product, or any defective part thereof, after Company inspection. In no event shall
the Company be liable for any consequential, indirect, incidental or special damages of any nature arising from the sale of
the engine, including but not limited to rental car charges, any tow charges, labor not done by CCR, Inc. or any failure of
accessory parts such as hoses or gaskets which are not part of the engine, unless pre-authorized by CCR, Inc.
Unauthorized repairs will not be paid. Authorized licensed repairs will be compensated at no more than Standard Mitchell
Book time and at a flat rate of no more than $65 per hour.
* Performance modifications are considered abuse and
immediately void the warranty.
Our engines are warranted in the Continental USA and parts of Canada only.
